So you probably got the message in Dashboard > Plugins or right inside Revolution Slider that you should activate your copy. It’s confusing, i know!

To clarify, worry not, Revolution slider is included in the theme and you can use almost all of its features, without activating it.

I’m saying almost because recently ThemePunch, developers of Revolution slider, have pushed new premium features that are only available if you purchase a copy of your own and activate Revolution Slider

If you activate it, you’ll get:

• Premium Addons, eg: screenshot .
• Premium exported slider tempaltes, eg: screenshot .
• Instant updates. Currently, the slider can update only when the theme will be updated.
• Direct technical support from Revolution slider’s developers.

In my opinion this is one of the most premium WordPress plugin ever built and it’s really worth its money, so if you want the top mentioned features, safely purchase a separate license. However do keep in mind that you’re not obligated to do so if you’re ok with what’s already included in the bundled version of it with the theme.
