500 Internal Server Error

The 500 Internal Server Error run in your website when there is a problem from the server side or from the file system but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.

The 500 Internal Server Error may show a different kind of error message on each website because each website is allowed to customize the message. several common ways you might see the HTTP 500 Internal Server error:

  1. You can check .htaccess File may be corrupted in the root directory of WordPress Installation. if it corrupted then you should create a new .htaccess file into the same directory. you can take reference from here.

  3. You can deactivate all the third party plugin which you are using in your WordPress site from the admin area. if you are not able to access the WordPress Admin area then you have to access the plugin folder from your FTP server, you can take reference from here how to deactivate the plugin without login WP Admin area.
  4. Re-upload the new version of wp-admin and wp-includes to your site or you can re-install the WordPress from WordPress dashboard -> updates and find there Re-install now button (screenshot).
